Stuck between concrete walls during basic military training, Addie began drawing airplanes on her notecards during downtime. It was there she found a love for aviation art. A few years later, she took her first painting class in college. She was inspired by her work as a military photographer and began to paint airplanes. She loves to combine abstract backgrounds with photorealistic fighter jets.
Addie Peterson is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Art with a minor in Italian at the University of Minnesota. She creates acrylic paintings inspired by military photography. She plans to explore different concepts and ideas and continue to make art.
